About Nambi Home
Nambi Home – our clever-place, your sacred space.
Nambi Home was born on Darkinjung Country, on the Central Coast of NSW, where two best friends - Yuka and Ariane - decided to build something meaningful, beautiful, and rooted in both culture and nature.
We’re a co-Indigenous-owned small business crafting natural candles, eco-conscious skincare, and homewares inspired by the landscapes, botanicals, and spirit of Australia. Our products are made by hand with care, and infused with our love for sustainability, craftsmanship, and culture.
🌿 Our Beginning
In 2024, as life shifted for both of us, we found strength in friendship and a shared passion for creating. Between us, we had the tools, materials, and the spark. What started as a conversation over candle-making supplies quickly turned into the foundation for Nambi Home - a place where we could craft, reconnect with nature, and celebrate what matters most.
Our name, Nambi, comes from Gathang, the language of the Biripi/Worimi people. It means clever-place - a space of creativity and knowledge. For us, Nambi Home is just that: a place where women, men and families gather, create, and honour the land and culture around them.
👩🏽🤝👩🏻 Meet the Makers
Ariane is a proud Biripi/Worimi woman, an artist, disability carer, nature-lover, and mother with a deep respect for Country. With a background in conservation, business, and manufacturing, Ariane brings knowledge of native ingredients, sustainability, and a heartfelt desire to uplift Indigenous stories and traditions through her work.
Yuka is a creator at heart, originally from Japan, now deeply connected to the Australian landscape. With a strong foundation in small business - from fashion to beauty - Yuka’s eye for design, craftsmanship, and simplicity helps shape every Nambi product. She brings the energy, warmth, and grounding spirit that defines our creative partnership.
Together, we are passionate about making products that reflect our cultures, our values, and the environment we both love so deeply.
🌱 Our Commitment to Nature
At Nambi Home, sustainability isn’t an afterthought—it’s a promise.
We focus on:
- Eco-friendly and minimal packaging
- Responsibly sourced native Australian ingredients
- Reducing waste in production
- Exploring candle refills and recycling options
- Partnering with carbon-conscious and low-plastic suppliers
Our goal is to lead by example, proving that beautiful, effective, and meaningful products don’t have to cost the Earth.
🖤 Culture Is Core to Everything We Do
As a co-Indigenous-owned business, we’re proud to support and collaborate with other Indigenous makers and share language, art, and storytelling through our work. From using Gathang and Darkinjung language in our product ranges to showcasing Indigenous botanicals with ancestral uses, we honour the long-held wisdom of the First Peoples of this land.
Our logo is an Aboriginal symbol representing women and children gathered together - reflecting our vision of home, community, and culture. We are deeply committed to learning, sharing, and contributing to the ongoing revitalisation of Aboriginal culture and connection to Country.
🕯 Our Products, Our Passion
From the soft flicker of a hand-poured beeswax candle to the calming touch of a skincare balm made with native botanicals, everything we make is crafted with care, purpose, and creativity.
Our candle range features scents that spark memory - campfire smoke, eucalyptus, wildflowers.
Our skincare line is rich with ingredients that have nourished bodies for thousands of years.
We create to inspire peace, joy, reflection, and connection - to land, to culture, and to self.
Thank you for being here. Whether you found us through your love of natural candles, eco-friendly skincare, or a desire to support Indigenous-owned Australian brands, we’re so glad you stopped by!
